Terms of Service

By accessing or using StarYa ("Starya," "Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service immediately. These Terms govern all visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

StarYa is a cosmic intelligence platform that combines astrology and numerology. The Service includes:

• Numerology profile — Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge, Personality, Birthday and Attitude numbers, from your birth date and optional full birth name
• Natal chart & astrology — planetary placements, houses and angles (Placidus or Whole Sign), plus live transits and today's sky
• Cosmic Blueprint — a combined astrology-and-numerology synthesis of your chart and numbers
• Cosmic Timeline™ — a chronological view of your personal years, lunar events, portal dates, Chinese zodiac years, transits and life milestones, with optional AI interpretations
• Today briefing — a personalised daily summary with cycle, lunar and transit context
• Daily, monthly, and yearly personal cycle forecasts
• Horoscope readings, labelled as general, chart-personalised, or transit-based
• Chinese zodiac and elemental harmony readings
• Daily tarot card draws and interpretive guidance
• AI guide — an assistant for deeper exploration of your own results
• Moon phase tracking and portal date calendars
• StarSync — compatibility comparisons, scores, saved matches and privacy-safe share cards
• Journal — personal reflections with cosmic context, Reflection Rhythm, optional AI summaries and daily streaks
• StarYa Social & Updates: a community space for feedback, ideas, replies and reactions

Calculations are deterministic and performed in our own code; AI is used only to translate finished results into readable reflections. Features may be added, changed, or retired as the Service evolves.

We offer limited free readings — including core numerology and chart basics — so you can experience the platform before committing. Premium features, including the Cosmic Blueprint, daily and monthly insights, transits, the AI guide, tarot, Chinese horoscope and journal AI summaries, require an active paid subscription.

All new subscribers are eligible for a 7-day free trial on their first subscription. During the trial period, you have full access to all premium features. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. After the trial, your selected plan will begin billing automatically.

Premium access is available via the following plans:

• 7-Day Free Trial: First-time subscribers receive a 7-day free trial with full premium access. You may cancel at any time during the trial without being charged
• Monthly Plan: $9.99 per month, billed monthly (after trial)
• Yearly Plan: $99 per year (save 17%), billed annually (after trial)
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date
• Payment Processing: All transactions are handled securely through Stripe. We never store your full payment details
• Price Adjustments: We may update pricing with at least 30 days' prior notice. Existing subscribers will be notified via email before any change takes effect

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account's billing portal. Upon cancellation:

• You retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
• No further charges will be made after cancellation
• Your account and free-tier access remain active

Your satisfaction matters to us:

• 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you're not satisfied, request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription payment
• After 7 Days: Payments are non-refundable beyond the initial guarantee window
• No Partial Refunds: Prorated refunds are not available for unused portions of a billing period

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access
• Refrain from sharing, transferring, or selling your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used fraudulently.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or connected infrastructure
• Copy, reproduce, sell, or redistribute any portion of the Service without written permission
• Deploy automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) against the Service
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users of the platform
• Post spam, offensive, defamatory, or misleading content in StarYa Social & Updates
• Impersonate another user or misrepresent your identity in community features

Through StarYa Social & Updates, you may post feedback, ideas, and replies. By submitting content, you:

• Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content within the Service
• Represent that your content does not infringe any third-party rights
• Acknowledge that your display name and avatar are visible to other community members
• Understand that we may remove content that violates these Terms or community standards at our sole discretion
• Accept that admin responses, pinned posts, and moderation actions are final

We are not responsible for user-generated content and do not endorse any views expressed by community members.

All content, features, branding, algorithms, and functionality within StarYa are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written authorization.

Portions of the Service use artificial intelligence to translate your calculated results into readable readings, insights, and guidance. AI-generated content:

• Is produced algorithmically and may occasionally contain inaccuracies
• Does not compute your chart or numbers — those are calculated deterministically and are unaffected if an interpretation fails to generate
• Receives only the context described in our Privacy Policy and Trust page; journal content is shared with AI only if you opt in
• Should be treated as a tool for reflection, not as factual or prescriptive advice
• Does not replace the judgment of qualified professionals in any field

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STARYA AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StarYa and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in that policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, with each party bearing its own costs unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email notification. Your continued use of the Service following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.
